Hide from the sunlight in your moms basement! Her basement is full of crap you have to remove to make space and it won't be cheap but the reward is worth it!

How to build a basement?
- If you have at least one square stone foundation, you will have the option to build a basement in the tool cupboard inventory UI.
- Once selected, you can use a hammer to decide where to build the first basement entrance
- Once the entrance is built, you will have a 1x1 basement.
- After entering the basement entrance, you can use a Jackhammer on the walls to expand the basement. You can only expand to areas underneath valid foundations.

What happens to the stuff in the basement when it’s destroyed?
- Any containers and deployables in the basement will “float” to the surface and be destroyed
- Any players will be killed and their bodies will float as well

What does it cost to build a basement?
- There is an initial build cost when creating a basement entrance (420 HQM) and when drilling new basement cells (25k Stones Squares 12.5k Stones Triangles.
- There currently is no upkeep costs on basements. This might be something that is added in the future, but it’s a technical challenge.

How do basements get destroyed?
- Basements are destroyed when all the entrances to the basement are destroyed.
- If the foundation above a basement is destroyed, the corresponding cell in the basement will be destroyed as well.

Can players damage basements?
- The exterior walls of a basement are indestructible and will only be destroyed if the entrances are destroyed or if the foundation above it is destroyed.
